19 Upper Lake is a Grade II listed building in the heart of the historic town of Battle.  Our garden backs onto the grounds of Battle Abbey and the site of the battle in 1066 that changed the course of English history.

We provide luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in our atmospheric old house that dates back to 1450. It's B&B with the emphasis on style, comfort and quality.

The three individually furnished bedrooms combine traditional home comforts and modern facilities. We try to ensure that everything we provide is ethically sourced and environmentally sustainable.

We make really good breakfasts, using the best locally sourced and organic ingredients.

There’s plenty to do in and around Battle. We know the area well and will be delighted to advise you on where to go.
